HANNAH BAHNG Announces ‘OUT OF THE BLUE’ Makeup Collection With K-Beauty Brand ROM&ND

hannah bahng, singer-songwriter and rom&nd's first-ever global ambassador, today announced her exclusive limited edition 'OUT OF THE BLUE' makeup collection with the Korean beauty brand, that will officially launch on February 17 at 10 AM EST.


hannah, known for her hands-on approach to her music and creative ventures, oversaw all aspects of the collection. She wanted to make cosmetic products that felt authentic to her, and drew inspiration from items she has used on a daily basis for years. The end result is a thoughtfully crafted collection that combines her personal style and creative ideas with rom&nd's innovative beauty knowledge.


The collection incorporates themes that resonate with hannah as an artist, drawing influence from the nostalgic, vivid look of the 1990s, with packaging that echoes her characteristic colour, blue, alongside rom&nd's famous pink to perfectly symbolise the partnership.


The ‘OUT OF THE BLUE’ collection includes:


  • BETTER THAN EYES 04 OUT OF THE BLUE ($17): a versatile eyeshadow palette with both matte and shimmer shades, designed for every day looks as well as bold, statement-making eye makeup. It includes features four shades:

  • The Blues - an icy blue shimmer with a music note drawn by hannah etched into the powder

  • Rosy Bass - a soft, muted rosy pink

  • Blush Play - a rosy brown shimmer with a subtle glow

  • Mauve Cassette - a deep, romantic mauve

  • GLASTING MELTING BALM 18 ROSE BAHNG ($13.99): a nourishing, tinted lip balm enriched with vegan lip oils in a universally flattering deep rose shade that was personally developed by hannah at rom&nd’s headquarters in Seoul.

  • THE JUICY LASTING TINT 21 GRAPE BOMB ($13.99): hannah’s favourite lip tint from rom&nd’s existing product line, repackaged for her ‘OUT OF THE BLUE’ collection. The colour is a vibrant mauve-red with cherry and grape undertones.

  • BLUE PLAYLIST EDITION ($30.99): a collectible cassette tape tin inspired by the Altoids tin decorating TikTok trend, which contains the BETTER THAN EYES 04 OUT OF THE BLUE eyeshadow palette, GLASTING MELTING BALM 18 ROSE BAHNG tinted lip balm and two exclusive gifts with purchase: a blue strap mirror and stickers designed by hannah.

"I’m very hands-on with everything I do so having so much creative freedom in a new medium outside of music has been a really fun project for me,” said hannah. “I’ve been using rom&nd’s products for years, so collaborating on my very own makeup collection with them felt so natural. I was involved in every step, from concept to completion. After months of hard work, it’s exciting to see everything come together. I hope this collection resonates with others and inspires them to embrace their own creativity and style." 


‘OUT OF THE BLUE’ will be available for purchase on Bahng Shop and rom&nd US’ TikTok shop for U.S. customers. It will also be sold at W Cosmetics in Australia, Qoo10 in Japan and YesStyle globally. A special discount will be available during the first week of sales.



The collection comes on the heels of hannah's new single “what never lived.” The track, which she wrote, composed and produced alongside her longtime collaborator Andrew Luce (iann dior, Role Model, Lil Nas X), blends raw emotion with an alternative edge. The song was born on hannah’s piano, but it was the immediate desire to infuse it with a powerful guitar-driven sound that truly captured the track’s essence. With lyrics like “Sometimes I think about what we could’ve been/The magic of the past still haunts me within/You said it was a forever thing, not a fling/You said that you could love me,” the song delves into the emotional complexities of navigating a modern-day situationship.



“what never lived” follows the release of hannah’s debut record, The Abysmal EP (May 2024), an emotionally raw exploration of self-discovery and the end of her teen years. Across its seven tracks, the EP spans genres from alternative to R&B to progressive pop, showcasing hannah's unique ability to blend diverse sounds. With over 30 million streams on Spotify alone, The Abysmal EP has resonated deeply with fans and critics alike.
