Jimin dropped the English version of “Be Mine,” from his second solo album MUSE released on July 19, together with a visualiser in appreciation of the continuous love and support fans have shown towards the album.

“Be Mine” is an afrobeat track with a seamless blend of seductive sound, instinctively confident lyrics, and a repetitive chorus that make for a smooth, sensuous track. While the preceding tracks “Rebirth (Intro)” and “Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson)” in the first half of the album paint a youthful vision of love, “Be Mine” is bold and direct in its expression of love.

The visualizer for “Be Mine (English Version)” opens with never-before-seen footage of Jimin inside a recording booth, shown through a blinking TV monitor. As he begins singing the melody, the visual transitions to vivid motion graphics of the album’s symbolic elements—a vintage cassette tape, fictional flower ‘smeraldo,’ floating heart, retro classic car, and disco ball. The track’s lyrics and footage of Jimin’s recording session appear on the TV monitor amid the beautifully illustrated graphics.

Jimin’s second solo album MUSE portrays the journey of finding inspiration from one’s surroundings. Centred around the theme of love, Jimin tells the story of making various attempts at finding love and losing his way at times over the album’s seven tracks.

Following his history-making No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” the main track of his solo debut album FACE (2023), Jimin scores another smash hit with his latest album that dominated the charts. MUSE debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while the main track “Who” landed at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. All of the album’s seven tracks charted on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. US chart with “Who” earning the top spot.
