BEOMGYU (범규) of TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER 투모로우바이투게더) is all set to dazzle with his first solo mixtape “Panic” on March 27!
"Panic" bursts with a powerful message, urging listeners to break free from the shadows of a dark and cold world and charge forward! Self-written by BEOMGYU, this track beautifully captures his delicate and introspective emotions. Inspired by his own journey to find peace through music, “Panic” delivers a touching and relatable story that is sure to strike a chord with today’s youth.
BEOMGYU shared a heartfelt handwritten message on the global fandom platform Weverse on March 23, commenting "I think more people than we think go through each day feeling lost, as if they're walking through a long, uncertain tunnel. I’ve also had days when darkness weighed on me, and during those times, I found comfort in the music I love."
He continued, "Just as music gave me strength, I hope my voice and my stories can bring comfort to others. I truly hope this song reaches deep into your heart and becomes a source of strength to help you keep moving forward."
With the release of “Panic,” BEOMGYU marks yet another milestone in his musical evolution. His artistic journey began with co-producing "Maze in the Mirror" from TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 2nd Mini Album, The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY (2020). BEOMGYU continuously placed his name within the credits of TOMORROW X TOGETHER's tracks, including "What If I Had Been That Puma" from their 2nd Studio Album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE (2021), and "Blue Spring" from their 3rd Studio Album, The Name Chapter: FREEFALL (2023).
The announcement of BEOMGYU’s mixtape comes on the heels of the launch of the European leg of TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s world tour 'ACT : PROMISE - EP. 2’ at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi on March 20. This marks the first time Gen Z’s leading band has added stops in Europe to their tour, demonstrating their prominence in the global music scene. Additionally, the Gen Z Icons are set to make history as the first K-pop group to perform at AXE Ceremonia 2025. The upcoming headline set on April 5 marks the quintet’s debut at a Latin American music festival and their first-ever performance in the region, sparking excitement among eagerly awaiting fans.
BEOMGYU is set to reveal a wide range of content leading up to the release of “Panic,” giving fans a deeper glimpse into his first solo mixtape.
